The Jerwood Fiction Uncovered Prize is supported by retailers and other literary organisation activity. In-store and online promotions run alongside the Fiction Uncovered PR and marketing campaign and website activity, and reading groups and libraries across the UK get on board. In 2014 we have been working with The Word Factory, an organisation specialising in events and masterclasses for short story writers, to raise the number of short story collection submissions. The Word Factory’s salon on 26 July at Waterstones Piccadilly will also host the Jerwood Fiction Uncovered Prize winners (more information coming soon).
