Fiction Uncovered is supported by UK retailers and other literary organisations. In-store and online promotions run alongside the Fiction Uncovered PR and marketing campaign and website activity, and reading groups and libraries across the UK get on board, working with the support of The Reading Agency.

We’re delighted that to have continued support from Waterstones. Point of Sale will be distributed across selected UK stores, and Waterstones.com will host a special Fiction Uncovered page shortly after the announcement.

 

 

Fiction Uncovered has continued support from iBookstore to promote the eight shortlisted titles. The Fiction Uncovered podcasts will be made available via iTunes and link directly to related titles in the iBookstore.
The Reading Agency is an independent charity working to inspire more people to read more. It has close links with the public library service, and also works with schools, adult learning providers, prisons, workplaces, publishers, broadcasters and others. The Reading Agency is getting reading groups and libraries around the country involved in Fiction Uncovered.
Bookseller of the Year 2012 Foyles showcases the eight Fiction Uncovered titles across all its stores, including instore promotions, special features online and in the Foyles quarterly newsletter, not to mention the huge Fiction Uncovered window display in its flagship store on Charing Cross Road.
The Book Depository supports Fiction Uncovered by featuring the eight selected titles on its website, contributing editorial to the Fiction Uncovered website and updating its customers about Fiction Uncovered via its weekly e-newsletter and regular blog.

The IPG (Independent Publishers Guild) supports around 480 members who make enormous contributions to creative excellence and innovation in the UK. The IPG is supporting Fiction Uncovered and will be helping to communicate news of the promotion to its members ensuring that the promotion receives as many submissions as possible from independent publishers.

 

We’ve been delighted to have worked closely with Indie Bound and the Independent Booksellers Forum this year. The Independent Booksellers Forum is the BA’s independent booksellers group. It exists to bring independent booksellers together across the UK, to facilitate the exchange of best practice and the sharing of ideas and experience.

 

 

Fiction Uncovered partnered with www.lovereading.co.uk to reach its 200,000+ members. Fiction Uncovered features on the site as a special ‘category’, alongside the major literary prizes, with information about each of the eight selected titles.

This service, developed by The Book Partnership, will help to communicate news of the Fiction Uncovered promotion to its 900+ bricks-and-mortar independent bookselling members.

The Literary Consultancy helps writers at all stages of their careers, with a team of experienced editors and readers offering a critical reappraisal. Fiction Uncovered will refer writers to The Literary Consultancy if they’re looking for objective advice about their work.
