Fiction Uncovered will have its own pop-up bookshop this weekend helped by the floating independent retailer The Book Barge on 22nd September 2012. Located at Broadway Market, on the Regent’s Canal, London, The Book Barge will host a special day of FREE readings and Q&As from Fiction Uncovered authors. Tibor Fischer will read from Crushed Mexican Spiders (Unbound) and take questions at 12.30 and Peter Benson will read from Two Cows and a Vanful of Smoke (Alma Books) at 2pm.
Visitors to the book barge will be able to buy any of the titles selected for the Fiction Uncovered 2012 promotion which in addition to Tibor Fischer and Peter Benson’s books mentioned above includes; The Light of Amsterdam by David Park, This is Life by Dan Rhodes, Hit and Run by Doug Johnstone, My Former Heart by Cressida Connolly, When Nights Were Cold by Susanna Jones and Lucky Bunny by Jill Dawson. Readers who buy a Fiction Uncovered 2012 title on the Book Barge on Saturday 22nd September will receive a free Fiction Uncovered tote bag and a free 2011 title – first come, first served!
